Rubin, Harry, of Margate, FL, passed away peacefully in
the comfort of his own home on March 16, 2010. At the age of 103, he was enjoying
the company of his many friends and family and making plans for years to come.
Harry loved life and was a caring, generous man with a wealth of wisdom,
experience, and a positive attitude he enjoyed sharing with cherished family and
friends. Harry is the widower of the late Evelyn Rubin and father of the late
Sidney Rubin. He was born in New York City where he met Evelyn. They lived in New
York and New Jersey, coming down to Florida each winter until they made Margate
their permanent home in the 1970s. Harry and Evelyn shared their lives together
for 65 wonderful years and will be remembered as two of the kindest people. Harry
will be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, and friends; loving memories of
Harry will fill our hearts forever. Services have been arranged by Star of David
Memorial in Margate, Florida for Thursday, March 18 at 3:30 PM. In lieu of
flowers, please consider planting a tree in Israel or donating to your favorite
charity in his name.

I am here to state
But Harry wasn't
always the man
that you see above.
Harry (if that is his real name), was known to others at Miami International Airport as the head Hari Krishna honcho.
I'm here to relate
To explain
and make it plain that:
I`m just wild about Harry
and Harry's wild about me;
The heavenly blisses of his
kisses fill me with extasy.
He's sweet just like sugar candy
and just like honey from a bee;
oh, I`m just wild about Harry
and he's just wild about,
he can't do without,
he's just wild about me.
Oh I`m just wild about Evelyn,
and Evelyn's wild about me
Oh, I`m just wild about Harry
and Harry's wild about me.
The heavenly blisses of his kisses
fill me with ecstasy.
He's sweet just like sugar candy,
and just like honey from a bee;
Oh, I`m just wild about Harry
and he's just wild about me.
Let's start at the beginning and learn what made Harry the man that he
subsequently became.

Young Harry was born on Thursday, June 14, 1906 in New York City under
the astrological sign of Gemini. He arrived a little too late to experience the San Francisco earthquake (He
lived in New York City), but he did learn about the value of money at a very impressionable
age.
Harry's conception occurred about Sept. 21, 1905, a
Thursday.
Rosh Hashanah in 1906 was on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 1906.

The moon was in its last quarter phase on June 14th.
The Hebrew Year 5666 was inaugurated on Rosh Hashanah Sept. 30, 1905, a year said to be, by many
Orthodox rabbis, a mystical one. Many involved, lengthy rabbinical treatises were written about
5666.
Harry's mother Liz
From The Forverts Yiddish Newspaper, June 1906
Phoebe Cohen came to New York from Liverpool, England, to find her father --
and have him arrested for abandoning his wife and family.
Though she searched high and low for him, she wasn't able to find him until,
purely by chance, she saw Brooklyn resident Max Cohen on a streetcar at 125th Street in Harlem.
When she saw him, she demanded that he return to Liverpool to support his
family. Cohen responded by picking up his daughter and trying to throw her under the wheels of the
streetcar.
Fortunately, a nearby policeman arrested Cohen, who is being held in the
Harlem jail until his hearing takes place.

The rest is history
Years passed. Technology took over. Before one can say "Uncle Miltie," it was 1995 and
the Rubins flew to Israel.
Notice the extraterrestrial (to the left of Uncle Harry and above) and ET's ship in
upper-right corner. The picture was taken just before Uncle Harry was temporarily uploaded to the mother
spacecraft.
Is it true that Uncle Harry thought there were nudist camps in Israel?
Uncle Harry was upset that there were no tunnels of love in Israel. But he
did find a dark cavern.
Uncle Harry's Horoscope
June 14 1906
6:00 AM Time Zone is EST
New York, NY
Rising Sign is in 12 Degrees Cancer
Very sensitive by nature, you prefer to be in your own familiar surroundings. Cautious and conservative, you make
changes in your life only very slowly, if at all. You do not open up easily to strangers. Friendships are made for
life, however -- once given, your trust is forever. Your mother, your home as a child and your early family life in
general are very important to you. You are also very sentimental. When you feel self- confident, you are gentle,
giving and protective of the needs of others. But when you feel insecure or threatened, you become overly sensitive
to criticism, shy, withdrawn and moody. You have a strong need for security -- in the sense that you are being
loved, nourished and protected.
Sun is in 22 Degrees Gemini.
You have a quick, bright and agile mind, but an extremely short attention
span. You love the external, kaleidoscopic aspects of life, but you tend to avoid (and even fear) deep, close
emotional involvements. As such, you seem to enjoy travel and sightseeing and generally being "on-the-go." You get
quite listless when things around you become static and dull, but your excitement returns whenever you are
stimulated by a new idea. Chatty, inquisitive and quite playful, you enjoy practical jokes and games in general.
Your moods change quickly and often -- you are very restless and constantly in motion. You are known for your
versatility and adaptability. Your vivaciousness enlivens any social gathering.
Moon is in 29 Degrees Pisces.
You have strong feelings and are extremely sensitive. It would help if you had a thicker skin -- you tend to react
emotionally to every situation you come across. Kind, gentle and considerate of the feelings of others, you are
good at taking care of the sick, wounded and helpless. But you tend to absorb the energy of others -- so avoid
those who are always negative. You have a rich, creative and lively imagination, but you should be careful not to
spend all your time daydreaming. Very intuitive, you have good ESP and may be quite clairvoyant or psychic.
Remember that you too have the right to get what you want from life. If you are always defensive and kowtowing to
others, people will take advantage of you and exploit you.
Mercury is in 29 Degrees Gemini.
Your mind is active, quick and agile. You are very restless and you get bored easily. Unless you receive constant
mental stimulation, you become extremely nervous and begin to act in an unstable manner. You are probably a good
student because of your natural inquisitiveness. You also love to travel. Your learning tends to be superficial,
though, because you have a relatively short attention span. Try to develop the mental discipline to finish what you
start. Also, you tend to talk on at times seemingly just to fill space -- make sure that your conversation has some
substance to it or others will start avoiding you.
Venus is in 22 Degrees Cancer.
You like to be very close to other people. You need emotional support yourself and are willing to give it to
others. When you feel unloved and insecure, you can be very jealous and possessive. You are not interested in
casual or superficial relationships -- only deep emotional involvements interest you. Your faithful devotion is one
of your greatest gifts, but be careful not to become too dependent on others. Learn to stand on your own two feet
and demand your own rights once in a while.
Mars is in 01 Degrees Cancer.
Your moods are very important to your overall well-being. You are confident and self-assertive when you are feeling
upbeat, and you are retiring, irritable and grumpy when you get depressed about anything. Very sensitive, you wear
your heart on your sleeve. You are easily angered whenever you think someone has slighted you. It is best for you
to show your anger immediately and let it all out, rather than to try to hold it in or to hold grudges for a long
time. You're extremely loyal and defensive of your family, neighborhood, community and culture.
Jupiter is in 19 Degrees Gemini.
You have a logical, detached, objective view of most things. Your interests are wide-ranging and you are an avid
student, with expertise in many different areas. You love to work things out in your mind -- everything you do is
reduced to an exercise in logic and reason. You have the ability to grasp abstractions and to deal successfully
with the larger issues of life. Your overemphasis on developing your powerful intellect can cause your emotional
and intuitive abilities to atrophy unless you consciously choose to exercise them.
Saturn is in 14 Degrees Pisces.
Your tendency to think that your life is out of control is based on an unreasonable fear, probably connected with
an unfortunate experience with the person who filled the father figure role in your early life. Learn to take
responsibility here and now for your own life. Try to stop having unrealistic expectations about guide figures.
Remember that they are merely human, with all the same faults and self-doubts that you have. When you get confused
or uncertain, try to simplify your lifestyle -- things will then become easier to bear.
Uranus is in 07 Degrees Capricorn.
You, and your peer group as well, seek out practical solutions to a changing society's attitudes to customs,
traditions and authority structures. Your logical and orderly manner of dealing with these matters will result in
permanent and carefully planned, but sweeping, reforms.
Neptune is in 09 Degrees Cancer.
You, and your entire generation, tend to overidealize the home, the past and other traditional values. This fosters
isolationism and protectionism in the political sense. One's zeal to bring one's own racial or cultural heritage to
the forefront may become subject to the same excesses as those of the ultranationalist movements of the 1920's
through the 1940's, unless the rights of individuals and dissidents are fiercely protected as well.
Pluto is in 22 Degrees Gemini.
For your entire generation, this is a period of far-reaching and profound breakthroughs in the ability of people to
communicate with each other. During one such period, at the turn of the Twentieth Century, the appearance of the
telephone, the automobile and air travel ushered in the global village.
N. Node is in 13 Degrees Leo.
You prefer to take the leadership role when it comes to dealing with others. You enjoy administering and organizing
group activities. Others tend to listen to your suggestions because you aren't usually overly domineering or
patronizing in your interactions. You love to entertain in a big way -- you're at your best when throwing a large
and lavish party. Your popularity and social success are assured as long as you don't take others for granted --
resist the temptation to become snobbish and arrogant.
